Question Help With Discordway Caller

i use the general discordway caller build for vanq areas ( i use it on sin, but i jst use normal build). but my problem is, any area with some hex removal is hard, as if ap gets removed i'm useless ( exemple is Unwaking Waters, kraken spawns ( mesmers) got expel hexes, elite spell that removes 2 hexes with 1 sec cast 8 recharge, and even if i use my ap then heros use there own hexes, they are able to remove ap before they die) - like i said in my exemple, what should i do?

Just don't care. Its PvE. You dont need to be able to recharge your skills all the time via AP. Just kill, its easy.

You could try changing your build, either slightly by using a cover hex or two, or more dramatically by using a team other than Discord. Lock your heroes onto the same target and pre select the first cast for them. There are a number of things you can do, it is PvE, and it is fairly easy, but you still can't expect the same thing to work all of the time.

Discordway should have a few hexes thrown onto the heroes aswell. [[Barbs] is useful as you're likely to be using Bone Minions, [[Suffering] and [[Shadow of fear] are useful AoE hexes - the advantages of these in the Expel Hexes situation is that the enemy might be more concerned with removing the AoE hexes from other targets than removing the AP from your target.

[[Putrid Bile] is very very useful as it triggers on death. Also, spammable hexes like [[Parasitic Bond] and [[Defile Defenses] can ensure that there is adequate cover for your AP.

So yeah, thats my advice, stick hexes all over the place.

On my ranger I take asuran scan as a cover hex. Got a fast recharge too.

I tend to use 2 aoe hexes (suffering, shadow of fear) as well as 2 condition spells (weaken armor and enfeebling blood) but I run 6 hero discordway. So even if there is a form of condition or hex removal it will still be effective. Also I would suggest 2 copies of putrid bile because your killing so fast that if monsters are grouped up it'll speed up the killing even more.

Besides that you can try to bring an extra hex, if you have the energy to spare you can try starting with pain inverter or something. Also depends on your profession, since your an assassin you can go /any secondary. I would say maybe necro so you could go mark of pain, ebon vanguard sin, insert condition here and ap. Basically reverse of the n/a but energy might be a bit more tight.

that build should do the trick, probably needs some modifying, but its just an idea.

AP is non-ideal for areas with lots of hex removal, such as unwaking waters. Even with cover hex, dispel hexes goes right through. Unwaking isn't a particularly tough area, but if I had to do it again I'd lots of AoE hexes from the curse line. Lingering, suffering etc + necrosis spam would probably be stronger than AP.
